Full Groom Service

A full groom includes your pet being washed twice in the appropriate shampoo for their skin and coat type, drying, grooming and clipping to the agreed requirements, nails clipped, ears cleaned and plucked if needed and your pet is happy for us to do so – no matter what their size.

Gland Clean Service

The most noticeable signs include a dog who’s rubbing her butt on the carpet, a dog who’s licking her bottom area obsessively, a pungent odor coming from your dog’s anus.

Certain smaller breeds are also more likely to need monthly, manual expression of their glands.

Bathing Service

Periodic baths are incredibly important for a dog’s health, coat, and skin. While they also have the added benefit of making it so you can actually stand the smell and sight of your four-legged friend when it comes time to cuddle. It’s advised to bathe your dog at least once every 3 months.

Ear Cleaning Service

Even if your dog doesn’t seem prone to ear infections, it’s important to keep their ears clean in order to keep it that way.

You should get your dog’s ears cleaned anywhere from once a week to once a month, depending on the breed.

Grooming Out Service

Grooming out involves using de-shedding tools to remove loose hair on double coated dogs such as Golden Retrievers, Siberian Husky’s, long haired German Shepherds etc.

Hand Stripping Service

Hand stripping is the pulling out of the dead outer coat of the wired-haired dog breeds by hand, rather than clipping. It does not hurt your dog and is not painful when done properly.

Your dog’s coat can be hand stripped every four to six weeks, before hand stripping the coat again.

Scissoring Service

Hand scissoring is a grooming technique that brings balance to your pet. Rather than simply using clipper blades, hand scissoring is a way to finish the groom in such a way that the pet is simply going to look better.

To create the perfect finish on your four-legged friends’ coats, why not take advantage of our scissoring service.

We offer a full de-shed package for dogs that moult, this includes a warm double shampoo wash with specially formulated shampoo that helps to strengthen hair follicles and reduce shedding. The shampoo is worked into the coat with a ‘Zoom groom’ rubber brush, after the bath, the remaining loose hair is blasted out with our high velocity blaster, this package also includes nail trimming and cologne/perfume.

What To Expect On The Day Of Appointment

On the day and time of your appointment, we will have a consultation with you and your four legged friend, where we will do a health check and highlight any health issues, lumps and bumps or any matted coat.
After your dog is booked in its either straight to the showers for warm double shampoo bath, using only professional products (if your dog has sensitive skin please make us aware when booking in) Or straight to the table for a pre-clip before then going through for a bath.
When its time for drying, we have a top of the range high velocity blaster/dryer or a small handheld pet dryer for smaller/nervous dogs. All dogs can be accommodated for, we would rather take more time drying a scared/nervous dog or send a dog home damp than make the experience terrifying.
When the coat is dry we then prep the coat for styling, ensuring there are no knots and cleaning the dogs ears, clipping nails, shaving pads and sanitary area.
We then move on to the styling, we will have previously discussed your requirements whether you would like a breed standard trim, teddy trim or trimmed exactly the way you want it.
The grooming process is finished with a cologne or perfume and pictures taken for our facebook page.
